With the rapid development of educational technology, blended learning has become an important way to improve learning outcomes. In order to recognize schools that have made positive contributions in this regard, this project has launched the "Blended Learning" Exemplary School Awards! We sincerely invite local primary and secondary schools to submit entries and share their efforts and achievements in promoting blended learning. Deadline: Feb 15, 2025 (23:59) (HKT).
Purpose of the Awards
The "Blended Learning" Exemplary School Awards aim to:
Commend schools that promote blended learning and effectively use educational technology to improve teaching outcomes
Encourage schools to contemplate effective blended learning strategies and to implement them
Share successful blended learning experiences to foster peer learning and stimulate enhancements and innovations in teaching methods
Eligibility and Division
The awards are intended for schools, not individual teachers or a teacher team.
Local schools that have actively promoted blended learning to enhance the quality of teaching are eligible to participate. Schools must be mainstream institutions offering formal curricula.
International schools, special schools and private schools offering non-formal curricula are not eligible to participate.
The awards consist of Primary Schools Division and Secondary Schools Division.

Each division will have five awards:
Grand Prize (1 winner)
Best Vision and Strategies (1 winner)
Best Coordination and Support (1 winner)
Best Use of Innovative Technology (1 winner)
Best Learning Outcomes (1 winner)

Trophy and certificate
Opportunities to share teaching outcomes and insights (including producing case study videos, case analysis documents, newspaper reports, or speaking at sharing sessions)
Judging Criteria
We understand that driving innovation in teaching methods, including blended learning, takes considerable time to yield tangible results. Hence, this initiative emphasizes the leadership of school management in vision, planning, management, support, and implementation of teaching method improvements, setting the following four main criteria for evaluation:
Vision and strategies for blended learning (20%)
Coordination and support for promoting blended learning (30%)
Usage and optimization of innovative technology (30%)
Learning outcomes from implementing blended learning (20%)
How to apply?
Schools interested in competing for the awards must complete and submit the online application form (hereinafter referred to as "entry") by 23:59 on February 15, 2025 (the deadline for the first round). They should submit a manuscript not exceeding 2,000 words addressing the four evaluation criteria (in Chinese or English, with each criterion limited to 500 words).
